Demilec Becomes the Most Recent Foam Systems Supplier to Join the Promotion

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., February 27, 2017—Honeywell (NYSE: HON) is pleased to announce that nine contractors have now been named as winners in its “Hit a Foam Run” promotion. Joining past winners are Skylar Swinford of EnergySeal in Boise, Idaho; Tamara Serrao of Falso in Syracuse, N.Y.; Marie Datil of Roof King Inc. in Margate, Fla; and Eric Gladson of Integrity Plus Insulation in Ogema, Wis. Each of them has received a $500 prize for submitting eligible projects into the sweepstakes.

Demilec is the most recent system supplier to join the promotion, offering its Heatlok® HFO High Lift system formulated with Solstice® Liquid Blowing Agent (LBA).

It only take a few minutes to complete a simple on-line entry. By sharing information about a project, small or large, that used closed-cell foam made with Solstice LBA, contractors are entered into a random drawing that occurs twice per month. If they include as many as three pictures of the project, they also qualify to win the Grand Prize, an all-expenses paid trip for two to the Professional Baseball Game of Stars in Miami this July ($7,000 estimated value).

The last day to enter the “Hit a Foam Run” promotion is April 30, so contractors are encouraged to submit projects soon. Contestants can enter today by visiting

Entries in the “Hit a Foam Run” promotion feature projects using systems formulated with Honeywell’s Solstice LBA. A fourth-generation blowing agent for closed-cell foam, Solstice LBA enables the foam to expand, provides excellent insulating performance and offers an ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) of 1. Solstice LBA is an ideal replacement for HFC blowing agents used in closed-cell spray foam. It is nonflammable (ASTM E-681) and is not a volatile organic compound per U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is listed under the U.S. EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program and is also registered under the European Union’s REACH program. Solstice LBA is made in the U.S. at Honeywell’s world-scale manufacturing plant, which started up in May 2014.
